My marriage with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is over. Pashinyan's wife, Anna Hakobyan, announced this on Facebook. She noted as follows:

"Although some confusion arose due to the fact that I had mentioned the civil marriage, and I had mentioned it that way because we do not have any other marriages. Today, February 25, I am leaving the government mansion. But since it is very likely that in the near future taxi drivers, various unknown persons in [public] transport will certainly spread different information about me, in particular, how I took this house from the foundation and took it with me, I consider it necessary to personally inform you of several facts. Fact number one:

I do not have a house, the house that we bought on loan was purchased, the building is still under construction. Therefore, I am moving to a rented apartment. In case they say I am a dollar millionaire,

I have accounts in dollar offshore zones, I don’t know, castles, etc., etc., I consider it necessary to say that there is money left over from the sale of the house in my [bank] account, I don’t remember the amount, because I never care, from which some money was spent for personal purposes.

There is money on my [bank] card, money accumulated from the My Step foundation salary and income tax refund. I remember this, because every time I open it, 5 million drams appear; I think it is enough for me to live. I don’t have a car, naturally I will not have state protection, so if you see me walking alone on the streets of Yerevan, please don’t be surprised and please don’t offend me, because over the past eight years, I have heard enough insults.

I want to continue working as the executive director of the My Step foundation, because it is a paid job, which I really need, but I think that my desire alone is perhaps not enough for this. In addition, judging by yesterday's question-and-answer session between the Anti-Corruption Committee and a reporter, it is not ruled out that I will be held criminally liable as the executive director of the My Step foundation. It is life, perhaps such a development is possible. What can you do? We will live, we will see.

"Then Anna Hakobyan showed her jewelry, and noted: "I also consider it necessary to show you these jewelry, which are ceremonial gifts given to me over the years, which, according to the decision of the Corruption Prevention Commission, did not pose a corruption risk and were handed to me perhaps seven months ago.

Some of them I have worn, some I have not even worn. Naturally, I am handing over all these gifts, jewelry and this clothing—which I think are also quite expensive—to the state. Dear people, in these boxes are personal clothing and personal hygiene items, absolutely nothing else. But since in some ways it seems like a farewell video, there is something I want to tell you specifically.

It’s about the images I have presented on various platforms over the past eight years as the prime minister's wife, in connection with which there has been a huge stir, criticism, etc. I want to tell you that during this entire time I have had no money, zero budget, to design a wardrobe, etc., and during these years I have literally done a magic trick to present myself in different ways on different platforms. And if any images [of mine] have disappointed or upset you, sorry of course.

I want to take this opportunity again to thank for the thousandth time those designers who have helped me get out of this situation in some way and have collaborated. And the collaboration was as follows: they either sewed clothes for various events or gave me clothes from their own clothes, I wore and returned [them] to them, for which I am very grateful.

And again, I apologize for putting them in a bad position due to my image, etc. So, goodbye, until we meet again. I don’t want to say I love you all, because in my opinion, love is something that should not be said, but should be shown with action, with care, with the care that is directed to the beloved. I think that during these nearly eight years, at least, my actions have been based only on love and care for you and the state.

God bless everyone, God bless the Republic of Armenia.” In addition, Anna Hakobyan wrote a social post, where she noted: “I inform all my friends, acquaintances and strangers, relatives, far and near, and even the closest people that this topic is not subject to discussion with me. I'm putting a ban on it.

And I urge you, dear people, not to spend too much time ‘analyzing’ this issue. It will become an idle pursuit—useless and fruitless. We listened, we recorded, we moved forward."
