Qatar has announced the temporary closure of its airspace as part of measures taken amid developments in the region, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.
According to the statement, the move was taken to ensure the safety of residents and visitors to the country.
The closure of Qatar’s airspace is linked to the joint U.S.–Israeli operation against Iran and Iran’s retaliatory strikes on Israeli territory.
