Yemen’s Houthi movement has decided to resume missile and drone attacks on maritime routes and on Israel in support of Iran, the Associated Press reports, citing senior Houthi officials.
One official said the rebels’ first attack could begin as early as this evening.
The Houthis had halted their attacks on shipping routes in the Red Sea under an agreement with the Trump administration, which also suspended U.S. strikes.
They also stopped their attacks on Israel following the October ceasefire agreement that brought large-scale fighting in Gaza to a halt.
