EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas stated that the latest developments in the Middle East represent a danger, and that the European Union is working closely with partners to find a diplomatic resolution to the situation.
"Its [Iran's] ballistic missile and nuclear weapons programs, as well as its support for terrorist groups, pose a serious threat to global security. The EU has imposed tough sanctions on Iran and has supported diplomatic solutions, including on the nuclear issue," Kallas wrote.
She also noted that she had held talks with the Israeli foreign minister and other foreign ministers. The EU is working closely with partners to find diplomatic solutions, the bloc's top diplomat said.
