US President Donald Trump, amid the attack on Iran, held phone calls with the leaders of the United Kingdom, Kuwait, and Turkey. This was announced by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

"President Trump just finished calls with the leaders of the United Kingdom, Kuwait, and Turkey," she wrote on social network X.

Israel struck Iran on the morning of February 28. Trump also announced the launch of a US military operation against Iran. Strikes hit military facilities in western Iran, the residence of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as well as an elementary school in the city of Minab.
