In the first 12 hours of the military operation against Iran, US forces carried out approximately 900 strikes. This was reported by Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin on social network X.

According to Griffin, the attacks were conducted "from land, air, and sea, including drones." Simultaneously, US forces were repelling a massive retaliatory barrage.

"Today Iran fired approximately 300 missiles. They have 2,000 long-range missiles and 2,000 shorter-range missiles. Since last summer they have restocked their arsenal," the post states.

The correspondent specified that in Bahrain, Iran struck an "empty warehouse" and a Ray Dome radar system.

According to a US Defense Department spokesperson, backup systems are in place in the region and "nothing that has happened has affected the mission."

The goal of the operation, it is noted, is to deprive Iran of the ability to strike neighboring states.

The post emphasizes that the US and its partners are aware of the location of Iran's highly enriched uranium, but access to it remains difficult.

The operation is expected to last "several weeks," although the US president may decide to end it sooner.

Additionally, a US official reported that part of Iran's air defense systems remains intact and will take several days to destroy.
