The killing of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will not go unanswered. This was stated on March 1 by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

"This great crime will never go unanswered and will open a new page in the history of the Islamic and Shia world," reads a post on his Telegram channel.

Pezeshkian added that with the support of the Islamic people and the free peoples of the world, those responsible and the commanders involved in Khamenei's killing will come to regret their actions.
