The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the "imminent launch" of the most devastating attacks against Israel and the United States.

"The heaviest offensive operations in the history of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will soon begin in the direction of the occupied lands and the bases of American terrorists," reads the IRGC statement published by Fars agency.

Meanwhile, Iran's Cabinet of Ministers stated that "this great crime (the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei) will never go unanswered and will open a new page in the history of the Islamic world."

At the same time, Iran's Supreme National Security Council declared that the joint American-Israeli attacks on Iran "will give rise to a mass uprising in the struggle against the world's oppressors."
