Authorities in Dubai confirmed that debris from drones intercepted by air defense systems fell into the courtyards of two residential buildings, injuring two local residents. The injured received medical treatment, Gulf News reports.

The Dubai Government Media Office clarified that the loud sounds heard across the emirate were the result of successful drone interception operations and that no additional damage was recorded.
