The IEA is actively monitoring events in the Middle East & the potential implications for global oil & gas markets and trade flows, its Executive Director Fatih Birol said.
“Markets have been well supplied to date,” Birol wrote on social media platform X.
The IEA chief added that he remains in contact with Ministers from major producers in the region & IEA governments about the situation.
