Eighteen Saudi diplomats, as well as citizens of Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Qatar and Pakistan, were evacuated from Iran through the border with Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani outlet APA reports.

According to the Azerbaijani media source, from 08:00 on February 28 until 12:00 today, around 60 Azerbaijani citizens, 1 Italian citizen and 5 Tajik citizens were also evacuated from Iran through the Astara checkpoint.

Later, 3 Bangladeshi citizens, 3 Qatari citizens and 1 Pakistani citizen were evacuated via Azerbaijan.
