Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi warned that the Middle East could descend into chaos.
He called for “dialogue and peaceful means” to resolve crises in the region, stressing that escalation carries serious consequences and could push the Middle East into turmoil.
El-Sisi made the remarks during a phone call on Sunday with Haitham bin Tariq, according to the Egyptian presidency.
