Lebanon’s Hezbollah on Sunday pledged to confront the United States and Israel over strikes on Iranian territory, Agence France-Presse reports.

“We will fulfill our duty to confront U.S. and Israeli aggression,” Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem said.

Qassem added that they would not abandon the “field of honor and resistance.”

Meanwhile, Lebanese authorities on February 28 expressed their unwillingness to be drawn into a regional war following the U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran.
