More than 70 missiles and drones struck the city of Erbil in northern Iraq, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein said on Monday. Additional attacks were recorded in the south and west of the country.
During a phone call with UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Hussein stated that Iraq had "become a victim of this war" and had come under attack "from various parties to the conflict."
Earlier the same day, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani ordered the country's security services to counter "any actions that harm security and stability."
