An earthquake was recorded in Sochi, with tremors felt by residents across various parts of the resort city. According to seismologists, the magnitude was 4.4, with the epicenter located 27 km from Sochi and 185 km from Krasnodar. The tremors lasted several seconds — windows rattled and chandeliers swayed in buildings.
"In Adler, a sharp jolt was felt indoors, followed by smaller tremors. There was no panic in the streets, people reacted calmly," RBC was told.
