YEREVAN. – Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received on Tuesday Rear Admiral Mark Montgomery, the Deputy Director

of Plans, Policy and Strategy of the US Army European Command, who was in Armenia on a working visit. 

The Minister gave a high assessment to the level of cooperation between the US Army European Command and the Armenian MOD. In his turn, Rear Admiral Montgomery thanked Armenia for its assistance in Kosovo and Afghanistan, MOD informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.      

The interlocutors also discussed the holding of Armenian-American exercises, military education programs, and other matters of bilateral interest.  

Within the framework of his stay in Armenia, Rear Admiral Mark Montgomery also paid a visit to the peacekeeping brigade of the Armenian Armed Forces.
