We are grateful to the authorities of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Turkmenistan for their assistance in ensuring the unhindered exit of Russian citizens from Iran via the respective land borders, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated Wednesday.
“We advise Russians to refrain from visiting the Islamic Republic [of Iran]. We ask our compatriots who are in Iran for one reason or another to try to leave the country as soon as possible,” Zakharova added.
