Iran respects the territorial integrity of Middle Eastern states, but the US and Israel have left it no choice but to defend itself, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated in a message to Middle Eastern leaders on March 4.
"Dear heads of state of friendly and neighboring countries, the American-Zionist military aggression has left us no choice but to defend ourselves. We respect your sovereignty and believe that the security and stability of the region must be achieved through the collective efforts of its countries," he wrote on X.
