Iraqi Kurdistan has denied reports of a Kurdish attack on Iran.
"Not a single Iraqi Kurd has crossed the border. This is patently false," Aziz Ahmad, deputy chief of staff to the prime minister of Iraqi Kurdistan, stated on X.
He dismissed the report that, "Thousands of Iraqi Kurds have launched a ground offensive in Iran."
