Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on March 5 and expressed support for Azerbaijan, APA reports.
“The President of Turkey condemned the drone attack on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic by the Islamic Republic of Iran and expressed support for the brotherly people of Azerbaijan.
The head of state expressed gratitude to Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the phone call and for his position,” the Azerbaijani media outlet said.
