The US State Department has issued a new security alert advising US government employees to avoid visiting Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan exclave, ABC News reports.
The alert came after Azerbaijan's foreign ministry said on Thursday that drones had struck the city of Nakhchivan, north of the exclave's border with Iran.
The ministry said one of the drones struck the airport in Nakhchivan.
