Armenian ambassador to the US, Narek Mkrtchyan, on Thursday participated in the OpenAI Education Summit at the headquarters of OpenAI in San Francisco.

Representatives of countries that already cooperate with OpenAI or are interested in opportunities for such cooperation took part in the event, the embassy of Armenia in the US informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Within the framework of the summit, Ambassador Mkrtchyan discussed with OpenAI representatives the prospects for possible cooperation between the company and the Armenian side in the fields of education and artificial intelligence (AI).

During the event, a roundtable discussion was also held, with the participation of senior officials from the education sector and representatives of universities from various countries.

During the discussion, Ambassador Mkrtchyan delivered remarks, presenting the approaches of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, as well as the current priorities of the country in the field of education.
