The Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran and the Azerbaijani consulate general in Tabriz have been ordered to be evacuated, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, Azerbaijani media report.
Bayramov added that given the ongoing developments, people's lives should not be put at risk.
"Preparations are currently underway for the evacuation of the [Azerbaijani] embassy and the consulate general [in Iran]," the FM said
