As announced, the diplomatic service agencies of Armenia in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, UAE collected data on Armenian citizens wishing to return to Armenia via Oman, and provided free bus transportation to them to the Muscat International Airport of Oman, Ani Badalyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, on Friday informed about this on Facebook.

A total of 94 Armenian nationals were transported from Abu Dhabi and Dubai to Muscat by organized transportation on Wednesday, 58 on Thursday, and 38 on Friday.

As a result, 70 and 120—total 190—Armenian citizens were transported from Abu Dhabi and Dubai to Muscat, respectively, in three days.

Also, police escort was provided by local authorities in Dubai.

Registered but not transported Armenian nationals still preferred to remain in Dubai at that time.

At present, the Armenian diplomatic service agencies in the UAE have collected data on all 170 Armenian citizens still there, and contact is being maintained with them individually or in groups. This number includes 30 Armenian students in Abu Dhabi.

In cases where Armenian nationals who have missed their flights through no fault of their own have encountered problems in some hotels in Dubai, the consulate general of Armenia in Dubai has been engaged in discussions to address these problems and provide the necessary assistance.

Relevant information has also been provided to the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the required format.
