The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has expressed its sincere gratitude to all countries that have expressed their support to Baku since Thursday in connection with the Iranian drone attack.

Also, the flags of the countries that have expressed support for Azerbaijan, including the Armenian tricolor, have been posted on the X account of the Azerbaijani MFA.

“We highly value the solidarity shown with Azerbaijan and the clear reaffirmation of support for our country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the inviolability of its borders. We thank all countries and international organisations who stood with Azerbaijan during this time and appreciate their continued support and engagement,” the statement said.

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Thursday had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. According to the Armenian MFA statement, the parties expressed concern and noted the importance of refraining from actions aimed at further escalating tensions, emphasizing the need to ensure stability and security.
