Since the start of hostilities, two Armenian citizens have contacted the Armenian Embassy. One has returned to Armenia without obstacles. The process of organizing the return of the second citizen is ongoing, with the embassy maintaining constant contact.

"The embassy receives an average of 15–20 phone calls daily, mainly concerning the passability of the Armenia-Iran border. Crossings from Iran to Armenia and from Armenia to Iran are operating normally on the Armenian side.

In general, no flow of Armenian citizens arriving from Iran that significantly differs from the usual is observed.

Due to communication restrictions in Iran, the embassy is also helping relay information about Armenians in Iran to their relatives.

In addition to Armenian citizens, foreign nationals are also contacting the embassy to inquire about entry options into Armenia. They are being provided with relevant explanations and necessary guidance.

The embassy is also providing necessary support to diplomats from several diplomatic missions accredited in the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as their family members, in organizing their return home through Armenian territory if needed," the statement reads.
