The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has proposed an initiative under which the government of Armenia will provide compensation of up to 250,000 drams per person to citizens whose return/transit flights to Armenia were canceled due to military actions in the Middle East and who purchased new tickets to return to Armenia. This was announced by Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

“If a citizen purchases a new ticket at a lower cost, the compensation will be paid in the amount of the sum actually paid. The compensation payment mechanism and additional details will be determined in the coming days,” he said.
