The Israeli Armed Forces carried out an airstrike on the Ramada Plaza hotel in central Beirut, Al Jazeera reports.
According to Lebanese authorities, at least four people were killed and several others wounded in the overnight Israeli airstrike on the hotel. Israel stated that the target of the attack was IRGC commanders.
The US and Israel have been attacking Iranian territory since February 28, causing destruction and casualties. In response, Iran has been launching missile strikes against Israel and US military bases in the region. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Seyyed Khamenei and other senior officials were killed in the US-Israeli strikes. On March 2, Hezbollah joined the war against Israel, with Israel announcing the launch of an offensive operation against the movement.
