Mothers of missing soldiers are holding a peaceful protest outside the Armenian government building today, March 8.

"Today we are holding a peaceful protest, but not in silence, because we must speak, because we cannot stay silent about this pain. It is impossible to bear this suffering; we are waiting for our children. The waiting, the uncertainty grow worse with each passing day — it is a lie that time heals, time does not heal, because the longing only intensifies, because we cannot go on, we are already dying, you understand, we are already fading away, and many of our parents, sadly, are no longer with us today because they could not bear this pain.

We demand that the Ministry of Justice, the Human Rights Defender's Office and the Prosecutor's Office find our sons," said Asya Danielyan, mother of Varuzhan Israyelyan, who went missing during the 44-day war.
