YEREVAN. – MP and businessman Levon Sargsyan (a.k.a. Lyov of the flour mill), who was once a favorite of Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan, is somewhat isolated in the recent periods, Zhoghovurd daily writes.

“He lives at Akhtamar [Hotel] Complex in Sevan [city] for months, and does not get involved in any event unrolling in the capital [Yerevan]. During the previous parliamentary elections, Levon Sargsyan was setting up brawls at the polling station in the name of [the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia] RPA, but today he is at ‘a place of exile’ and is complaining that he did everything for Serzh Sargsyan, but today others are enjoying the power. According to Zhoghovurd’s information, Serzh Sargsyan has made Lyov of the flour mill directly understand that he should not hope for an MP mandate,” Zhoghovurd writes.
