Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in a remote meeting organized at the initiative of European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, during which leaders of a number of regional countries discussed the situation around the Middle East and possible ways to reduce regional tensions.

During the discussion, participants exchanged views on the current situation and options for its resolution, noting the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts.

In his remarks, Pashinyan noted that Armenia is following developments in the region with concern, particularly given that a number of countries friendly and partnered with Armenia are involved in the situation.

He emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and stabilizing the situation, highlighting the need for the earliest possible resolution of the crisis. Pashinyan confirmed Armenia's readiness to support all constructive initiatives aimed at establishing peace and stability.
