The 28th wave of Iran’s retaliatory missile strikes was in many ways one of the most severe, as reports of missile strikes on Israel caused a significant reaction and outcry in the Israeli media, reports Tasnim.

The published footage captured at least 14 instances of missile launches. And based on these data, the aforesaid Iranian media outlet concludes that more than 20 missiles were probably launched at this phase.

This proves that the trend observed in previous days, when more than twenty missiles were launched during a single operation, not only did not decrease, but also seems to have intensified. The targets of this wave were also diverse: strikes were carried out both on Israel and on a number of US military bases in the region.

Another important point concerns the types of missiles and warheads used. There have been reports that cluster warheads were used on Qadr missiles during this wave.

 Previously, cluster warheads were mainly used on Iranian missiles such as the Khaybar and Khorramshahr.
