Iran launched airstrikes on the US military base in Qatar last night, the “Golos Kurdistana (Voice of Kurdistan)” Telegram account reports.

In turn, the AP reported last night that the strikes were carried out on the US Air Force’s al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

According to unconfirmed reports, loud explosions and alarm signals were heard at the Doha base. Initial data suggest that the base was likely hit by a direct attack. Possible consequences in the area are being reported, AP noted.
