The US and Israel "appear to have no common plan" for bringing the war against Iran to a quick and decisive end, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said.

"We share many goals, but with each passing day of the war, more and more questions arise," Merz emphasized. "We are particularly concerned that there appears to be no coordinated approach to how to bring this war to a quick and convincing end."

According to him, Germany has no interest in a protracted conflict. He also stressed the importance of preserving territorial integrity and warned of the risks of an endless war threatening regional stability.
