Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that adversaries who believe they can destroy the country are harboring an "illusion."
"Iran is the heir to a civilization at least 6,000 years old. Through the trials of history, no power has ever been able to erase this glorious name. Those who harbor the illusion of destroying Iran know nothing of history. Conquerors came and went; Iran endured," the Iranian president wrote in a post on X.
