On March 8, the Armenian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai organized and carried out the free transportation of 7 Armenian citizens to Oman, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Ani Badalyan announced.

She added: "Today at the UAE-Oman border, an Armenian Embassy diplomat in Oman met the Armenian citizens, facilitating simplified border crossing and transportation to Muscat airport. A Muscat-Yerevan flight is scheduled for late this evening.

In total, from March 4 to 10, 253 Armenian citizens made use of free transportation to Muscat organized by the Armenian Embassy in the UAE and the Armenian Consulate General in Dubai.

During this period, Armenian citizens with health problems also contacted the Armenian Embassy in the UAE, with whom constant communication was maintained to resolve urgent matters. Three citizens with health issues and their family members returned to Armenia free of charge on a Muscat-Yerevan flight with embassy assistance.

According to the embassy, around 40 Armenian citizens currently remain in the UAE, including 14 students."
