Armenia and the European Union have adopted a new strategic agenda that raises our relations to a new level, currently we are actively negotiating on the topic of visa liberalization. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in his remarks during a joint statement Wednesday with European Parliament president Roberta Metsola, in Strasbourg, France.

Pashinyan added as follows: “During this period, the Republic of Armenia has also received assistance through the European Peace Facility. The EU civilian monitors’ mission continues to operate in Armenia, the role of which is difficult to overestimate.

In general, our high-level political dialogue continues and has taken place at the level of the executive branch, the legislative branch, and civil societies.

I am also pleased to note that we have a rather large agenda of economic cooperation, and I would like to thank you again for this invitation and opportunity, and I look forward to your participation in the European Political Community summit in Yerevan in early May.”
