It is an honor for me to tell you that since my previous speech from this podium, which was on October 17, 2023, such changes have taken place in Armenia and in the South Caucasus in general, which have a century-long significance, if not a millennium-long significance. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in his address at the European Parliament Wednesday in Strasbourg, France.

“And only two years and five months have passed since my previous speech. The most memorable change is the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which was recorded on August 8, 2025 in the US capital, Washington, when Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and I signed a joint declaration at the White House, by which, in fact, we established peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Pashinyan added, in part.

As for the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, the Armenian premier stated as follows: “The TRIPP project is currently in the crystallization stage. On January 13, the governments of the United States of America and Armenia adopted the TRIPP Implementation Framework, and in the near future Armenia and the United States of America will sign a relevant agreement and the practical launch of the project will be given.

This project, which stems from the Armenian government’s Crossroads of Peace project, will create new transport opportunities for communication from east to west and vice versa, from south to north and vice versa, which is also an epochal change.”
