Head of the advisory group of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps command, Ali Fadavi, stated that the US is already focused on ending hostilities in the region, a position supported by President Donald Trump himself.

"Since yesterday, Trump and the Americans have been seeking a ceasefire. Why? Because of the pressure being exerted on our part — that is precisely what prompted them to seriously consider this issue," Fadavi said on Iranian television, a clip of which was published by state broadcaster IRIB.
