During a press briefing after the government’s Cabinet meeting Thursday, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan recalled that the Ministry of Defense of Armenia provided a detailed explanation, denying the allegations that Azerbaijan was improving its military position in the territory of Armenia.

“There is a clear map, there is a clear line, which has de jure significance, which shows that these allegations do not correspond to reality. (...).

I believe the minister of defense has also invited you to go and see what kind of engineering work we are doing, what measures we are taking in our territory. We have also invited [you] to view weapons, equipment.

Countries can take some measures in their sovereign territories. What is the problem? The whole problem is that there is a clear border line, and you know where Armenia is and the authority of the state bodies of Armenia is, and where it is not Armenia and it is beyond the authority of the state bodies of Armenia.

Of course, we have said in parallel that there are certain issues with the territories, which will be resolved in the border delimitation process," the Armenian PM noted.
