A bust of French Resistance fighter and national hero Missak Manouchian will be installed in one of downtown Yerevan’s parks which bears Manouchian’s name. The decision to that effect was made at Thursday’s meeting of the Yerevan Council of Elders.

“It is a very interesting work—that passed through a competitive procedure—which we will install in the park named after Missak Manouchian,” said Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
