Ankara records attempts by external forces to incite internal division and incite civil conflict in Iran. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated this during a joint press conference after talks with his German counterpart, Johann Wadephul.
According to Fidan, Turkey is against any initiative aimed at destabilizing the situation, including attempts to incite confrontation on ethnic or gender grounds. He warned that such steps could lead to dangerous consequences, and emphasized that Ankara will not allow such scenarios to be implemented.
The foreign minister also noted that Turkey is making active diplomatic efforts to stop the war in the Middle East. According to him, the country's president is holding talks with the heads of various countries, and Turkish diplomacy is actively cooperating with neighbors and partners to de-escalate and end the conflict.
Fidan added that many countries, both in the East and in the West, generally share a similar approach to the need to reduce tensions.
