Starting from the day elections were called, the Migration and Citizenship Service of Armenia's Interior Ministry has been working to obtain the voter register, update voter lists, and identify and correct inaccuracies, the Migration and Citizenship Service announced.

"The right to vote in parliamentary elections is held by citizens of the Republic of Armenia who have reached the age of 18 by election day.

The Armenian voter register includes: persons included in Armenia's state population register; and citizens of the Republic of Armenia registered in any community of the republic and entitled to vote.

Based on the voter register, a community voter list is compiled by polling stations. This includes eligible voters who had a valid identity document during the 6 months preceding election day.

If data on unknown or deceased persons is found at your address, you may contact the territorial divisions of the Migration and Citizenship Service to have them removed from the register," the statement reads.
