At least 30 people were injured in an Iranian attack on the Israeli town of Zarzir, according to the Magen David Adom ambulance service.

Doctors said most of the injuries were caused by fragments of glass that broke during the attack.

The Kan news agency, citing emergency services, reported that two people were injured by shrapnel and the others suffered minor injuries from glass fragments. Six of the injured, including two children aged 12 and 13, were hospitalized.

Israeli police added that the strike also damaged a building.

The incident occurred after civil defense sirens sounded in northern Israel, and the Israeli military said it had detected missiles fired from Iran.
