Israeli forces have struck Beirut’s Nabaa neighborhood, which is adjacent to the densely Armenian-populated Bourj Hammoud neighborhood of the Lebanese capital.

According to preliminary information, the strike was carried out by a drone, said Shahan Kandaharian, chief editor of Lebanon’s Armenian daily Aztag.

According to him, an apartment was targeted, and there is no information about any Armenians affected.

“Naturally, it is an uneasy situation, Bourj Hammoud and Nabaa are considered the same district,” Kandaharian added.
