A special session of the Board of Trustees of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute was held recently.
And the Board of Trustees decided to appoint Hrachya Tashchyan as the Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, the latter informs.
Tashchyan has started performing his respective duties as of Monday.
The former director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, Edita Gzoyan, had submitted her resignation recently. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had announced that Gzoyan had resigned on his instructions because she had presented US Vice President JD Vance—who had visited Armenia last month—a book on Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
