Bahrain's Interior Ministry said it has arrested five people for collecting and transmitting classified information to Iran's IRGC, Al Jazeera reports.

The arrested men are between 25 and 39 years old, with one allegedly having "undergone intensive training in Iranian Revolutionary Guard camps," the government statement said.

"He and the other detainees photographed and recorded the coordinates of several vital locations as well as some hotels in the Kingdom of Bahrain and sent these photos and coordinates to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, which assisted in the process of striking these targets," the ministry stated.
