A drone flying towards the US embassy in Baghdad has been shot down, Iraqi security sources said, Al Jazeera reports
Air defense systems intercepted and destroyed the drone near the aforesaid US diplomatic mission in the center of the Iraqi capital.
Air-raid sirens are currently sounding in the area where the embassy is located.
