The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has extended the partial closure of its airspace for another week, a source in the Middle East air traffic control services told TASS.

Accordingly, the UAE airspace will be partially closed until 12:00 (UTC) on March 23.

The source noted that six routes have been set for flights to local airports, with border crossing points with the airspace of neighboring Oman and Saudi Arabia.

Aircraft crews are instructed to follow operational information from the air traffic control services.
