The airspace of Bahrain and Kuwait will be closed for the 18th consecutive day, the Middle East air traffic control services report.

The airspace closure of Bahrain and Kuwait, which was introduced at noon on February 28, has been extended again by 12 hours, until 16:00 universal time, a source said.

The source added that, unlike Kuwait, individual flights are allowed in Bahrain's skies with special permits, and using the shortest corridor from Bahrain International Airport to neighboring Saudi Arabia.

The airspace of Bahrain and Kuwait was closed after the start of the US and Israeli military operation against Iran. The airspace of Iran and Iraq is also closed now, while Qatar allows flights for a few hours a day, the airspace of the UAE and Syria is partially open, while Israeli flights are periodically suspended.
